Each day, Chapman Middle School starts with a 30 minute Jump Start class where organizational events such as attendance and lunch count take place.   Mondays are devoted to math activities and Fridays we work on reading.

      7th Grade General Music is a required semester length class devoted to composition.   Students learn reading and writing music skills by writing and performing their own pieces.

      Personal Growth class is part of a nine week rotation for 7th Grade students.  This course covers ways to improve individual personal behavior and class time centers around student discussion.

        6th Grade General Music is a required semester length class where students explore music listening, performance, reading, and movement skills. 

        8th Grade Choir meets daily for the entire school year.   Members of Choir perform at all the CMS concerts plus share their talents with a 3rd nine weeks mini-musical.

       5th Grade General Music meets every day for 20 minutes.   Various units are built around seasonal events.  All 5th graders perform at two CMS concerts plus their DARE Graduation ceremony.
