US History Course Objective:

Students will explore US History from the Constitution through the early 20th century.  We will cover topics such as early government, westward expansion, Civil War, frontier west, immigration, industrialization, Progressive Era, and American expansion overseas.  The curriculum meets the Kansas State Standards for Social Studies.

Geography Course Objective:

Students will explore World Geography using the Five Themes of Geography.  We will cover areas such as United States, Canada, Latin America, Europe, Africa, Northern Africa & Southwest Asia, East Asia, Southeast Asia and Oceania.  The curriculum meets the Kansas State Standards for Social Studies.

Kansas History Course Objective:

Students will explore Kansas History from the Pre-history through the early 21st century.  We will cover topics such as Kansas Indians, exploration, Civil War, frontier days, Reform movements, Great Depression, World War II and Kansas today.  The curriculum meets the Kansas State Standards for Social Studies.
